Albert Einstein Mathematics - Grades: 7 & 8 The seventh and eighth grade mathematics curriculum is rigorous and challenging. Students receive a solid foundation in pre-algebra that prepares them for high school mathematics. Our curriculum is based on the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and the Common Core State Standards. Language Arts - Grade 8 The eighth grade language arts program encompasses reading, both non-fiction and fiction, English/grammar, vocabulary and writing. Emphasis is placed on writing in all subject areas using the Collins Writing Program. Students produce Narrative, Expository/Informational and Argument writing assignments based primarily on non-fiction reading assignments.
